Surrey Pub GTG

Having spoken to Racall at the Brooklands Meet, gauging interest in a meet along the lines of one the other forum had a month or so ago

Possibly Saturday 20th of November, at Red Lion pub Fernhurst (Surrey Hills)

Apparantly the pub was very welcoming to the MB crowd.

Anyone up for it?

Bear in mind the Red Lion is a small pub, any more than about 8 and they will have to split you over a few non adjacent tables

I think car park size is the most important factor - GTG is likely to be more about tyre-kicking and jawing than drinking!

The pub itself has space for around 6 cars, but there is a larger car park just 5 mins walk further up

There's a MB parts place just down the road with plenty of parking, meet there and then off to the pub for some lunch?

Well, it was quite a limited Menu, but what was on offer was very nice, at least everyone that was there enjoyed the meal with no complaints.

And, I was assured that all of the puddings are locally made in the pub, nothing is bought in.
