Have You Seen Any Interesting Cars On The Road Lately?

Both are smol saloon cars yes. Well spotted!:D
You don’t see a similarity in the proportions of the headlamps and grille at the front? You don’t see the similarity in the grille standing slightly taller than the head lights, and the resulting V-shaped flute in the bonnet on both cars

You don’t see the similarity in the shape and proportions of the tail lamps with the sought wrap around to the sides? And let me guess, you don’t see the similarity in the chamfered shoulder on the rear quarter panel?

The chamfered shoulders on the rear quarter panels are are the most distinctive stying feature of cars, the only other model I can think of with similar treatment is the 124 generation cars which of course is no coincidence.

Can you name a car which looks more like the 190 than the Panther Rio, excluding the W124?

I had a Dolomite 1850 HL, which was a lovely car (red with black vinyl roof). I did have to fibreglass the boot floor though

As a kid in the '70s I lived about 50 yds from the lock-up in Surrey (Crutchfield Lane, Walton-on-Thames) where the original Panther company was based. I used to walk past on the way to/from school and saw the cars being built - don't recall ever seeing a Rio though!
Did you go to Rydens?

On my walk to school (Rydens) I used to walk past a house that had a little red Ginetta G15 in the garage. Always a treat when the garage doors were open!

No, but I used to drink at the Royal George opposite! I worked at Birds Eye (by Walton station) from 1978 to 1983, and that was the main pub we went to :)

I remember reading in the Surrey Herald about a guy in Walton who had an immaculate early '60s Ford Consul Capri laid up as an investment in his garage. It was written off when a learner driver lost control and went straight up his drive and through the garage doors!

Well, the sun was out in Beverley today & I saw a few cars worthy of inclusion here.
However I was unable to photograph most of them.

I did however see this rather tidy little Caterham 7..

Later the same day I also spotted this peculiar looking "thingy".:
